Hello World,

This is my brand new blog page and will cover many contemporary issues  and my numerous projects.

Currently I am in the process of writing my memoirs dating back to the time I was a Royal Marines Commando. It will take into account my childhood and how it affected me during my career and how, when returning from Iraq, I coped.

Its not only a personal account but one that illustrates the modern social inadequencies of military life.

I hope that everyone will find it inspiring and worthwhile, because its something that simply has to be told.

Additionally I have many other interests. I hope you find them as intriguing as I do. Current to my research on my memoirs I have been looking into the use of right-wing groups during the Cold War by our own domestic security services and such incidents known as ‘black terror’ and ‘the strategy of tension’.

Looking into specific nation stats such as Turkey is quite shocking. For they call themselves patriots. They call themselves the Grey Wolves. They are Turkey’s most right-wing paramilitary organisation and where political intrigue and clandestine action is found, so are they Turkey’s greatest protector or their greatest bully?

Looking back further at the Second World War, my favourite period of history, I am also writing my own narrative of the Commando’s.
